Internal Improvements

Jackson made the right move to veto the Maysville Road Bill of 1830. It was unconstitutional for Congress to pay for the road because it was only in one state. Go western expansion!! -Common Man

Nullification Crisis

Jackson was protecting the people by trying to preserve the Union when he chose to use military force on South Carolina! It was the right move! He was just trying to maintain unity in the nation. -News Journalist

Indian Removal Act

We agree with the Indian Removal Act because it opens new farmland to white settlers while providing Native Ameicans with a haven where they would be protected from harassment. This is a good idea because it gave white farmers land which shows that you are for the common man. -Common Man
